UPDATE: Martin Gap Road is closed for bridge repairs until further notice. Access to Frew Road is only available from the east via Allensville Road, then Marcia Road.
Hunter’s Rocks is located at the southwestern end of Rothrock State Forest near State College. Boulders of pocketed, high-friction sandstone are often compared to the gritstone climbing areas of England’s Peak District.
